I ran for my life!

Well not quite my life, but I did finally run the Lincoln 10K on Sunday 3rd April in a time of 1 hour, 8 minutes and 11 seconds, raising over £400 for my chosen charity, the Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.  It was the hottest day of the year so far and by the end of the race my face matched the colour of my top!  I thoroughly enjoyed the run and am already thinking about doing another one soon! :)

Thanks to all my family and friends who have supported and encouraged me, and who have given generously via their sponsorship.  You all rock!

Hey Fab – The Linux Outlaws podcasts have been my biggest training aid. Such fun to run and listen too. xx

Congratulations :D I don’t know if we rock but you certainly do :)

Next jobs are to run another one and to get Philip to give up the smokes as well. Perhaps the spring air will tempt him to give it another go.

    Congrats!

If it were me, I’d still be running… Mostly because I’d be stopping [me breathing hard] every now and [me breathing hard] then for a smoke. ;)

On a related note, congrats on not smoking too. :D

    [me pass out]
